We specialize in clipping and masking images.
"Economy" clipping path
Creation of a clipping path around the (focused) main object.
Elements in the background are ignored.
This does not include the processing of multiple objects and composings (i.e. the intentional composition of multiple objects).
"Comfort" mask
Creation of a clipping path around the (focused) main object.
In addition: Masking of the main colors of the main object.
Elements in the background are ignored. This does not include composings (i.e. the intentional composition of multiple objects).
"Premium" mask
Creation of a clipping path around the (focused) main object, masking of the main colors of the main object.
In addition: Masking of objects in the background.
Plus: Masking of minute details such as eyes and teeth. Express Types
Eco-Express: Like economy but with order return within 6 hours
Comfort-Express: Like comfort but with order return within 6 hours
Note: Processing quality of this type is limited. Clearance should be obtained in consultation with the Support Team

How are masks and clipping paths made?

Clipping paths and masks are handmade with the path tool by Adobe Photoshop. Your original images will remain unchanged so that no image information is lost.

 

What are the prices for clipping paths and masks?

OnlineMASKoffers you professional quality at the most favorable conditions. We have a tiered price structure for clipping paths and masks.  Your costs therefore are based on your monthly order volume and not on the complexity of your individual images. How do I get the voucher?

Every new customer gets their first five "economy" clipping paths from OnlineMASKfor free. We will credit these to your customer account within 24 hours of your registration. Of course, you can place an order for your images straight away. At the end of the month, the five free images will be automatically deducted from your invoice. All you have to do is register and place an order.

 

How can I upload my images?

You have three convenient options to upload your images:

1. Via our website
You can upload smaller image volumes via the OnlineMASK-website - simple and convenient. After registering at www.onlinemask.com, you can log in to your account with your user name and password and starting placing your orders. Click on "orders" and simply select the number of images you would like to commission as well as the order type and select your files for upload.  Then start your upload.

 

2. Via FTP
FTP upload to the OnlineMASK server is suitable for all order volumes. You will automatically receive personal FTP access with your registration. Please use an FTP program (FileZilla, Cyberduck, WSFTP, etc.) installed on your computer for this purpose.
Your FTP access data consists of the following:
Address: ftp.onlinemask.com
User name: Your OnlineMASK user name
Password: Your OnlineMASK Password
Once you have connected to the server, you will see three folders.
„In“: This is where you place your data (by order type).
„Failure“: Folder for faulty files
„Out“: Here you can download your masked images once they are completed.

Upload your images in the "In" folder to the respective order folder (e.g. "comfort mask"). The masking orders are then automatically transferred to OnlineMASK and processed respectively. Of course, you can also upload your images as zip files, whereby the name of the zip file is also the order name.

Please note that a total amount of 50 images per order should not be exceeded. If you would like to commission more images, we recommend uploading via multiple order folders.

 

3. OnlineMASKsync
Our program OnlineMASKsyncis a professional tool for users with a medium to large-scale order volume. With OnlineMASKsync, you can conveniently regulate all necessary tasks from the comfort of your desktop. The program transfers a compressed mask image and the original image remains on your computer. This saves transfer times and the original file never leaves your house.
You can download OnlineMASKsync for free , and after installing the java program (runs on Macintosh and Windows) OnlineMASK is ready for use.
Attention: You can only place orders and upload images if you have specified your payment information and the tax number (for corporate clients) of your company.
Please note that downloading your completed orders must be conducted the very same way they were uploaded.

 

Are the images altered?

No, your original files remain 100% unchanged. The vector paths are saved to the file without affecting the pixel structure.

 

How does downloading work?

Once your order has been completed, you will receive an email from OnlineMASK. You have the same three options available for download that you had when uploading your images. Please note that the orders have to be downloaded the same way they were uploaded.
1. Via our website
Simply log in to your user account via onlinemask.com.  And download your images from the "orders" tab.
2. Via FTP
Use your FTP program to connect to our OnlineMASK server. Your processed images can be downloaded from the "Out" folder.
3. Via OnlineMASKsync
Simply open your OnlineMASKsync-Client and click on the "synchronize" button. Now the clipping and masking paths are transmitted to the original files.

Important when synchronizing: Write access to the data and the data itself may not have been moved.

 

What are the order return times?

Standard orders are returned within 24 hours. Express orders are ready for shipment within 6 hours. As the volumes for this service are limited, we kindly ask you to contact our Customer Service should you wish to make use of this offer.

How does payment work?

We offer payment services via credit card (MasterCard and American Express).  The procedure is fully secure, due to the 128-bit encryption in our OnlineMASK system. Invoicing takes place at the end of the month and you receive your invoice of the previous month by postal mail. We also recommend that you download your invoice as PDF file via your customer account.

 

Which file formats can you work with?

We can process Jpg, Tiff (8-Bit and 16-Bit) and Eps files.
We do not process files such as PSD, PNG, BMP or GIF files.

 

In which file formats are the images returned to me?

We always return your images in the same format and the same name in which we received your files.  The pixel structure also remains fully unaffected.

 

I am not satisfied with my image. How can I submit a complaint?

You are not satisfied with a clipping path or masked image? Of course you can submit a complaint to us in such a case. Please send the image, including your criticism and order number, to our Service Hotline. No extra costs will be incurred to you for the correction of the error. Highest quality is our guiding principle and we are grateful for any suggestions, requests and also criticism.

How can I change my password?

Simply log in to your user account via OnlineMASK.com. In the "personal data" section you can change your password under the "online data" tab.

 

I would like to set up an account for multiple users. How does that work?

You are more than welcome to set up your user account for multiple users. Please inform our Service Hotline and we will take care of the matter for you.

 

I would like to register anew. What do I have to do?

Please fill in the designated entry fields. The fields marked with an * are required fields. In order to complete registration you must accept our general terms and conditions. Once you have set up your payment information, you are free to place orders for clippings paths and masks.
Exception: If you have registered your vouchers in the menu under "vouchers", you are entitled to the respective number of masking/clipping paths via browser, i.e. via our website: www.onlinemask.com (not via FTP or Sync).

 

I have registered but I can't send an order. Why is that?

Please check whether you have entered all necessary information in your user profile. You cannot send any orders until you have specified a payment type. Simply enter your preferred method of payment and start using the simple and convenient OnlineMASK services.
